This 3 Piece Dummy is designed to close that gap.

Two weighted ends. Soft fill in the middle. The shape and balance of it - longer, articulated, heavier at each end - is as close to a real rabbit as a training dummy gets. When the dog picks it up, the weight distribution immediately tells it something. Grab it by the end and one side dips. Hold it through the middle and it balances. That's not accidental. That's the whole point.

A dog that learns to carry through the body carries game properly. A dog that end-mouths a dummy will end-mouth a rabbit. Fix it here, in training, before it matters.

The small ½lb size is the right starting point for puppies and younger dogs - light enough to carry comfortably, shaped correctly from day one.
