Buffalo Horn - Solid Core, Natural Chew

Most buffalo horns on the market are hollow. They crack, splinter, and get binned after a week. These aren't those.

Solid core all the way through. Natural, odourless, and tough enough for dogs that take chewing seriously. Darren's lot go through them - which is the only test that matters around here.

No additives. No artificial anything. Just a proper chew that keeps them busy, helps clean their teeth, and actually lasts.

Sold by weight, not length - so you know exactly what you're getting.

Which size?

It depends on your dog and how seriously they chew - but as a rough guide:

  • L (200–300g) - Good starting point for Spaniels. Probably not one for a Labrador who likes to swallow things whole.
  • XL (300–400g) - Works well for both Spaniel and Labrador size dogs.
  • XXL (400–500g) - Better suited to Labradors and bigger dogs, though any breed can have one.

Honest answer? Every dog's different. These are guidelines, not rules. If your Spaniel is a serious chewer, go bigger. If your Lab is gentle, the XL is fine. Good for all breeds - just match the size to the dog in front of you.

The important bit - read this before you order.

Buffalo horn is a natural product. Every one is different - shape, size, colour. We cut them to size and take off any sharp edges, but have a check yourself before you hand one over. You know your dog. Use your eyes.

Be there when your dog's chewing. That's not me being dramatic - some dogs will try to swallow anything they can fit in their mouth, and if yours is one of them, this isn't the chew for them. Keep water available. Simple stuff, but worth saying.

Puppies - wait. Adult teeth need to be fully in before you give them anything like this. We've heard of pups cracking teeth because they were given one too young, and that's a vet bill and an upset nobody needs. If you've got a younger dog who needs something to get their teeth into, start with a split chew instead and work up from there.
