Most game carriers are a strap and a couple of hooks. They do the job. They also dig into your hand on the walk back, tangle at the worst moment, and end up slung awkwardly over your shoulder because the clip wasn't worth trusting.

This one's built differently. And it's worth knowing why.

The strap is neoprene - wide, padded, and reinforced down the centre with 4cm nylon webbing. That combination matters. Neoprene cushions the load. The nylon backbone stops it stretching under weight. At 36cm by 7cm, it sits properly in your hand or over your shoulder without cutting in, however long the day runs.

The steel loops are 4mm - heavier gauge than most, 23.5cm long, and part of a solid steel frame rather than bent wire. They hold. They don't flex. They don't twist the birds into a mess.

Then there's the belt clip. Rotatable heavy-duty plastic - it locks onto a belt or vest pocket and swivels to follow your movement rather than pulling against it. That's the detail that makes a carrier you actually use rather than one that ends up in the bag.
