Synthetic bags are practical. Canvas bags are something else. There's a reason the best shots on the best days are still carrying canvas - it doesn't try to look traditional. It just is.

Heavy cotton canvas is what cartridge bags were made from before anyone had thought to call something Duotex or Cordura. It develops character with use rather than showing wear. The leather straps and piping aren't decorative - they're reinforcing the points that take the most load, the way they always have. Metal buckle fastenings rather than plastic. A speedloader-style opening so you're into it and back out without breaking stride when birds are coming over.

The cushioned shoulder pad is the detail that separates this from every other bag in the range. A hundred loose cartridges carried all day across a long walked-up or a full driven day - the padding matters by afternoon. None of the synthetic bags have it. This one does.

Shoulder strap adjusts fully, up to 140cm - long enough to carry comfortably cross-body regardless of build, or over a shooting jacket without the bag riding up. At 700g it's not a lightweight bag, but that's the canvas. It carries like it should.

Available in green, brown, and fawn. The fawn is the one for smart days. All three earn their place.
