The ACME Classic 211.5 has been on the lanyards of Labrador and retriever handlers for generations. Not because it's flashy. Because it does the job - a solid, single-frequency tone at 5700Hz, carries cleanly across open ground, reaches your dog up to 1.5km away in good conditions. For a retriever working at distance, marking birds, running blind retrieves across a drive - that range matters. The dog needs to hear a clean signal, not a guess.

Every other retailer will tell you the 211.5 is "suggested for retrievers." And yes, the slightly lower pitch carries further over distance compared to the 210.5, which is why retriever and Labrador handlers have always reached for it. But at Kirkbourne we recommend it for any breed. The frequency is what it is. Train your dog to it, stick to it, don't swap halfway through. The whistle you're consistent with is the right whistle. Full stop.
